Spatial’s guides are written by The Spatial Team and reviewed against primary sources: the WHO, EPA, CDC, NHANES, and the peer-reviewed literature. Spatial is a product of Magnetic Co., an environmental-health company building the tools to make the invisible load around you measurable.

The environmental-health internet has two failure modes. One sells fear — “toxic mold is destroying your health, buy this protocol.” The other waves it away — “it’s basically harmless.” Both are wrong, and the gap between them is where most people get lost. We write the honest middle: what the evidence actually supports, what’s still uncertain, what you can safely do yourself, and where a qualified professional belongs.

Our sourcing standard

• Cited to primary sources. Health claims are grounded in the WHO, EPA, CDC, NHANES, and peer-reviewed research — not other blogs.
• Honest about confidence. We say plainly what is well-established versus what is real but less certain. That distinction is the whole point.
• No fabricated numbers, ever. Where there isn’t a clean, defensible figure, we describe the picture qualitatively rather than invent one.
• Reviewed, not just published. Every guide is checked against the relevant authoritative literature before it goes live, and that review is credited on the post.

Why the honesty is the strategy

In a low-trust category, the credible source wins the skeptical, high-intent reader. We would rather tell you what we don’t know and route you to a professional than sell you certainty we haven’t earned. That restraint is the brand.
